Product arrived much quicker than expected. Although the carrier had damaged the box, the product was unharmed due to the protective foam. Easy to assemble and set up. I was up and running within 10 minutes, including the accessory table. I decided to use the smaller ball (included) to make more delicate patterns. They are beautiful and with a large variety to choose from! My one suggestion is to include a Clean option that is not part of a playlist, so that a pattern can be cleaned before another single one is started. Otherwise, it is breathtaking and everyone who sees it wants one!
Amazing!! Honestly, watching the patterns form is so addictive. I keep it on my desk and it’s a total conversation starter during Zoom calls. Super calming.
This is an amazing product. I have been looking at a similar product for several years but finding this one makes me glad that I never pulled the trigger on buying the other manufacturers version. This table arrived very well packed, with the tablebase, glass top, 1 bag of sand, a small rake, power adapter with several changeable plugs for customizing to ones power outlet, and of course the steel ball that makes all the magic happen. It took roughly 5 minutes to set up the table. I added the sand, used the rake to level it, dropped the ball into the center, and powered it up. It immediately began a cleaning cycle, meaning it produced what appeared to be a coil, the purpose of which is apparently to further spread and level the sand. Then it began creating designs. Once it was running I took a few moments to download and install the accompanying app. The app connected to the table quickly, and i was thereafter able to control the table via my phone. Adjusting speed of the ball, color combinations, and the pattern(s) created were all at my fingertips. I can even power onoff the unit via the app. Oh...I almost forgot! When I launched the app and connected to the table I was prompted to update the tables firmware, which I did. In addition to other things the temperature of the light (on the Kelvin scale, not the heat generated) can be controlled, as can the frequency of color changes, the brightness of the light, and the frequency of change of color under the user selected color palette. Now the table goes about its day making one beautiful pattern after another. Every time I pass it I feel compelled to stop and gaze at the pattern it is making. Unlike most pieces of art, and I do consider this a piece of art, this one changes moment to moment. There are dozens of available designs, including many for different holidays. This table occupies a prominent location in our home, and I hope it continues to mesmerize us for years to come.

everything is of excellent quality. well, maybe not the base table, or the app, but those are fixable.

Was looking for a meditation gift for my sister and really didn't want to buy another candle. She sent me a video of this running the night she set it up. Then another the next morning. I think I chose well.
I'm not great at the whole close-your-eyes-and-meditate thing. Having something slow to look at helps me sit for a few minutes without getting so fidgety. I keep Roji in my meditation corner. Nothing elaborate, just this and a cushion.
Please measure first lol. I read “20 inches” and somehow still pictured something smaller. Had to rethink where it was going, but the sand patterns look lovely with that much space. Definitely a noticeable piece in the room.
I'm not someone who meditates, but I love having this smart zen garden on after work. I get a drink, turn the lights down, and watch the pattern for a bit. Some evenings I barely pay attention to it. It's just nice to have it there.
Measure your space first. The 20-inch Roji is a proper piece of decor, and I had to move a few things around to give it a home. Worth doing, though. I really like being able to see the sand patterns from the couch without leaning over a tiny display.
My favorite time for this is actually before work. Coffee's still too hot, house is quiet, and I just watch the sand for a bit. Some mornings I still reach for my phone out of habit. But it's nice having something else there.
We put the Roji sand art table in our guest lounge. It suits the room, and it's something guests can actually watch rather than just walk past. I like checking the pattern when I come through, too. Small thing, but it makes that corner more interesting.
Tried the drawing feature with a very basic doodle. And I mean VERY basic. Watching it turn into lines in actual sand was probably more exciting than it should have been haha.
The lighting and finished patterns are lovely, and the unit feels well made. Setup took longer than expected on my Wi-Fi, though it has been reliable afterward.

My favorite part is that the patterns keep evolving without needing constant attention. It is decorative, calming, and a pleasant alternative to another glowing screen.
It looks even better in person and feels much more solid than I expected. The patterns come out clean, and the slower setting is perfect for my office. Getting it connected to Wi-Fi was a little annoying and took me two tries, so the setup could be clearer. Since then, though, it has worked normally and I have not had to reconnect it.
Bought it because I liked the kinetic sand art, mostly. Wasn't really looking for a meditation tool. It looks beautiful in the living room, and yes, pretty much everyone who visits asks how the ball moves.
I was looking for decor that felt calming but not overly traditional. The clean shape, moving sand, and adjustable light strike a good balance in my apartment.
This sand art table has found a permanent spot by my reading chair. I'll look up from my book and there's a whole new pattern taking shape. I don't need it there to read, obviously, but I really enjoy it. Especially in the evenings with the LED lighting on.

The circular shape and neutral colors make it easy to place almost anywhere. It looks refined on a sideboard and becomes much more interesting once it starts drawing.
